From spew to poo (UPDATE)

Our hardy little E had valiantly battled through and recovered from the spew bug she had caught from A*, provided you turn a blind eye to the ongoing the hourly wakings at night and next to no sleep during the day. Or so I had so stupidly thought.
We are now in phase two of her gastro bug, and this time it’s all action from the rear end. You know your little one has the runs bad when she manages to poo through two layers of clothing, a sleeping bag and two bottom sheets, the evil emissions only stopped by the waterproof mattress protector. Yummy.
Wonder when I’ll get to blog about something more scintillating?
* A was only off colour for a few days, with a little bit of the runs and now just weird yellow poo. I know as parents or parents to be that that is not TMI for y’all, and also testament to the fact that the kidlets develop the constitution of a cockroach after the first twelve months of daycare.
ETA: The spew is back. We are off to the doctor tomorrow provided she is OK overnight. I’m quite perplexed as there is no fever. Must be viral? Either way I’m trying to keep my girl hydrated, she won;t take Gastrolyte, is sipping small amounts of water and taking little breastfeeds but is bringing the latter up again too. Am trying not to worry…
