What’s in a name?

Seeing as toddlerdaddy was the first to slip up I may as well formally introduce you-by first names- to the hissychick clan.  So listen up peoples, as I may (or may not) only say this once:

Me= Emily, mostly known as Em.

Mr hissychick= James, the Jimbob and other assorted nicknames that I won’t print here.

A= Abigail, but widely known as Abi.

E= Evelyn, known to all as Evie.

Promise me you’ll still respect me in the morning……

  3. Kewl - I was dying to know what your first name was after your ‘6 things’ post. I for one think that naming after grandmas is a noble thing and there should be more of it.

  5. Ditto with pinert’s comment regarding the mystery behind the description of your name…

    Personally, I try to remain as anon as possible online. The names I refer about my kids are in fact their real names, but we use their Chinese names in everyday use. I also don’t put up too-recognisable pics of them online.

    I don’t want that, one day, they are suddenly yelled at in public “Hey! You’re that Caitlin that’s on that blogsite! How’s your constipation problem these days??”

    Not that my blog will ever get that popular…
