Six things….

Another quickie folks. I’ve been a busy girl. And stuff.
I’ve been tagged by the lovely and talented Jenn to write 6 random things about myself.
Here are the rules …
1. Link to the person who “tagged” you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.
And here’s my answers:
- I was named after my great grandmother, and I’ve always liked my name, even if I was sometimes teased for having an old fashioned name during the era when Kylie, Michelle, Lisa, Tanya et al were the names du jour. Of course nowadays my name is almost too popular, but that’s what you get for having a rather sweet and feminine moniker. Remember folks those are the traits of the name and not necessarily the owner.
- I can read upside down and back the front text almost as well as the normal way, a skill I taught myself in order to endure boring sermons when I was a child and still made to attend church. This skill has been put to many interesting uses which I will not elaborate on here, however I will say that it has turned out to be very handy when reading aloud to the kidlets.
- I cannot stand the feel of flour in between my fingertips. It’s the equivalent of nails down a blackboard for me. Go figure.
- Mr hissychick is the cousin of my first serious boyfriend, although I did not meet my husband until three years after that relationship had lapsed so it’s probably not (that) wierd.
- My footprints are rather unique, in that while I leave five toe impressions with my right foot I leave only four with my left. This is because my second left toe sits up above the others. Sadly enough this trait must be genetic, because both of my girls share it, although thankfully neither was born with the crossed over second and third toes that I had at birth. I hope they don’t plan to be sprinters because I’ve always been flat footed as a result of my stupid manky toes.
- I do not know how to play chess, any musical instrument or any card games thanks to my (shock! horror!) lack of patience. And I don’t think I ever will, even though I really, really want to…..be able to say that I can do any of those things. Especially the music bit. I reckon I’d make a kick ass glockenspiel maestro. Maybe.
