To cheer my blistered self up, or alternatively, to annoy his cranky wife and thus amuse himself, mr hissychick sent me the following little gem. Apparently it’s a marital chart from 1939, enabling husbands to determine how good the little wifey was at her wifely duties:
After laughing at my own score of -49743 points, interspersed with some incredulity that women allowed themselves to be treated like this for so long, I came up with the grand old idea of creating a 2008 marital chart. In the interests of evening things out it, will of course, refer only to the blokes.
Seeing as I am still an unlclean, sickly thing (and a wee bit lazy), this is where you, dear internets, come in. I’d love to hear what you’d like on the merit/demerit list. Once we have enough ideas I’ll draw the chart up and then we can all have some fun.
Especially you mr hissychick….

Oh dear I only got 3 Merit points Numbers 3,7 and 10. Although I don’t think my lewd sarcastic SOH would have rated in those days. I dont think my -ve 17 demerits was very good though.

I suggest that husbands flirting with other men at parties remain as a major demerit
