And we’re off again..

Let’s get the unpleasantries out of the way first:

Thanks to the fucktard who ran into our parked car yesterday and left without the having the common decency to provide a note with your details because we weren’t there at that time. It’s always heartening to know that selfish assholes such as yourself would prefer to put a dampener on a spontaneous outing with the girls, one in which A delighted in simple things such as a 50 cent lucky dip at the local toy store, and eating a freshly baked roll while listening to the folksy stylings of a busker as we sheltered from the rain, just so you don’t have to put in a claim on your insurance. It was your fault, and now we have to pay for it. Great.

Just remember what goes around comes around mate. And that, in the spirit of the cranky old hag I am rapidly becoming, I have written a rather narky letter to our local paper, which if published, may actually lead to someone dibber dobbing on you. So nerr.

Hissy fit over.

Dear internets,

I will be (mostly) offline from tomorrow until next Tuesday as the hissychicks are off to Melbourne for a family visit and a friend’s wedding. I will miss you all dearly, as will the children when they are bewildered from all the additional attention because Mummy isn’t on the ‘puter for a change.

Take care, and enjoy your breather from all things hissy as I’ll be back with my usual nonsense (with bonus wedding and inlaw anecdotes!) next week.

  1. I’ve backed into someone else before… I felt compelled to go in a tell them (it was their car in front of their house, so it was easy), but that’s the sort of person I am.

    I’ve had people scratch my car too, not to be too generalistic here (much), but Uni students are the worst car-parkers there are.
