Mills and Boon for Infertile Myrtles

By hissychick | March 27, 2008

She’d always known that he was the One. Tall, dark and handsome, he was a man of strength and determination, a powerful player in the business world yet so kind and gentle to those he let into his heart.

At the very moment they met, eyes locking across the crowded room, she’d  seen the future flash before her eyes. A passionate romance, a fairytale wedding, the joyous births of their beautiful babies.

And so she had patiently bided her time, let her handsome prince pursue and woo her, their love culminating in the unforgettable day that was their wedding and the passionate love they had made ever since.

All that was missing was a baby of their own. Her whole body ached with longing for a new life to grow and nuture within her womb and to adore and cherish forever more.

And now the time had come.

Let’s make a baby” he whispered ever so tenderly in her ear, as he gently laid her down on the bed.

I’ve wanted this for so long” she whispered back, tears shining in her eyes as she went to give her beloved husband a passionate kiss.

Then the doctor said “Could you bend your knees a bit? I’m having trouble getting the speculum in so just relax“.

The romance of it all.

  1. OMG how romantic. The doctor instead of the poolman is a stroke of genius. So much dreamier than “Oh shit, it broke”.

Can see you’re a romantic at heart.
Love is the beauty of the soul. And who being loved is poor?
You have a nice day, UL.

  5. Fluff indeed. :)

I’ve never read M&B. Was too involved in school activities and read only some mysteries and science fiction, but heard lots of juicy stuff from girlfriends.

  7. PMSL Just spat my cup of coffee all over his laptop. Absolutely no idea how to explain it!

As romantic as my DH playing golf at the same time the Dr said “Oh this looks perfect” ( I was too shocked to ask him whether he was refering to my bits or the placement)
