5 June 2004- I’m pregnant!

Did my blood test today…… HCG= 121.8 at 13 DPO. I still cannot believe it. I don’t have any symptoms, I was certain this one wasn’t going to work, yet here I am in this section of the diaries, hopefully for 40 weeks this time. I will be doing a repeat blood test on Wednesday, if my HCG levels are rising normally I will be able to start putting the fear of another ectopic to the back of my mind. My first scan is on June 16- I had to change my follow up appointment into a scan appointment. What a strange feeling that was. This is all so unreal, Mum and DH had to give me a 15 minute pep talk before I rang up for the results and when I got them I just burst into tears. I wish I could write more but I am still in shock. I have bought 4 HPTs and I will use the first one tomorrow. I want to see for myself that they aren’t just made of cardboard, that the little 7 cell embie that DH and I saw last Wednesday week is causing those two lines……. Please, please let this one be OK.
