CD 10. The BD fest is about to begin LOL And we have a new challenge for this month. On Friday night my DH and I caught a cab back to our car after going to a pub across the other side of the city. Anyway as I get out of the back of the cab the driver takes off, running of the side and achilles area of my right foot. I screamed in agony and he stopped. He kept asking if he could take me to the hospital and I told him to leave me alone. I didn’t think it was broken so I limped to the car and bawling “why does this always happen to me?” asked him to just drive me home. I wasn’t going to a hospital in the middle of the night that’s for sure- not after my dodgy experiences with hospitals. Anyway my foot was all black and blue when I woke up on Saturday. We went to visit my parents as we had to pick up a few things, including an old fridge, so I dropped in to see my doctor. My foot was xrayed and luckily it isn’t broken it’s just soft tissue damage and bloody sore. I fit had of been broken I was going to put in a police report for third party but as it isn’t I am just going leave it be- don’t need the stress. So while I was at the docs I told her about my concersn about TTC. She reassurred me that as I seem to be ovulating normally my chances of conceiving were excellent if my tube is patent. This was tested at the time of my surgery so I told her I was scared it wasn’t now and i didn’t want to wait 12 months to find out. She agreed with me- yay!- and gave me a referral for the gyn, with a view to a HSG (ick ick ick). So my plan is to wait a week, make an appointment which I know will be a couple of months away and then be pg by then, now that I feel I have a little more control again ;) So…this BD fest is going to be interesting. We’ll just have to work our way around the foot. And after reading katef’s story I am getting out the egg whites!!!!!
